Our story
From a young age, MDK Plumbing owner-manager Markus Kaumpek was involved in the building trade during weekends and holidays through his father’s property development company.
“I learnt about plumbing and enjoyed the potential positive impact it can have on a household – you can make simple plumbing look unique and give a ‘wow’ factor in bathrooms and kitchens, which is something that not everyone considers. There’s more to the trade than sorting out blocked toilets! To some people, it may sound strange to be passionate about plumbing. But as a young boy on site with my Dad, I also realised the important role that plumbing plays in our health and safety as a society.”
Water is fundamental to life and health. Without proper plumbing, the development of a society is inhibited and diseases can proliferate. Plumbers are vital to sanitation, clean drinking water and the control of diseases within every community.
This is also what inspires MDK Plumbing to always do things properly and according to the latest regulations, since there is human wellbeing at stake. With this approach, we have seen our business continue to grow and flourish since our inception in 2002.
